The Town of Marcellus, established in 1794, is located approximately 10 miles southwest of the City of Syracuse, near both Otisco and Skaneateles lakes. Marcellus is a small rural community of 35 square miles characterized by large open space areas with active agricultural uses & areas of concentrated residential development. Marcellus is known as a "Bedroom Community" due to its proximity to the City of Syracuse and largely residential population of 6,400. Shopping & Dining: There are many local shops providing the basic necessities required for small town living. The Town of Onondaga is located in the county of Onondaga and the state of New York, was incorporated April 2, 1798. The present size is 65 square miles with a population of approximately 21,000. The villages and hamlets which make up the town are: Cedarvale, Howlett Hill, Navarino, Nedrow, Onondaga Hill, Sentinel Heights, South Onondaga, Southwood, Split Rock, and Taunton.

Skaneateles is a town in Onondaga County, approximately 30 minutes southwest of Syracuse New York.
